Not much to say, very little time

It's been a busy week (surprise) but I did want to give a quick update on my activities. Students turned in their papers and I've been faithfully grading several each night. Sadly there is no way they will all be done by Thursday . . . I may have to take two weeks for this one.

Spent last weekend in Alexandria and got to see RP's band play. (The band used to have a Web site, but I can no longer find it, so no link. Sorry.) I went to have my eyes checked this morning at a real eye doctor and then got annoyed with the little twit at Walmart who refused to give ne new contacts because they didn't do the exam. Don't worry, ma'am, I won't be bothering you or your business ever again.

Hoping to get down to Chesapeake this weekend to see Meme and also to pick up my camera.

You might want to call Wal-Mart and ask to speak to the manager of the optical dept and see if they will honor another doctors's prescription. I've never heard an optical department not wanting to sell their goods, even if the script was from another source. True, you may have just had a twerp to wait on you. You might even try calling another Wal-Mart in the area.
Anyway, I think I remember that today is RP's birthday. Wish him a happy one for us.
Love

Hey--
Haven't been to your blog for awhile, it's cool you're keeping it up! I have some pictures of stuff you can put up, I'll try to send them before they get too dated. Hope you have a safe trip home and have a great time with your family! And please thank your Mom for the happy birthday wishes. :)

My fam is in town from all over (Texas, Alabama, and Ohio so far, not to mention me from Virginia). We're having a great time. My cousins are helping me update my myspace page to make it look all cool. :)

Happy Thanksgiving!
